The Rocket 22 won Sail Magazine's 2005 Editor's
Choice award for Best Cockpit Ergonomics. Forte
designed and builds the
mast and spinnaker pole for
the
Rocket 22 class.

Team Acadia
In November 2006, Forte designed and built the mast, boom and pole for Acadia, a Mini Class prototype designed by Rod Johnstone and
sailed by Clay Burkhalter. Acadia placed 12th in the 2007 Mini Transat from France to Brazil.

The Forte flagship, Got Wood? is a rescued International 110, outfitted with a Forte carbon fiber mast, boom, bow pole, lifting keel and carbon rudder shaft. Got Wood? sports carbon and technora sails as well as rudder/keel foils and bulb molded from Team Acadia/Clay Burkhalter's mini molds.

Cassiopeia
Forte custom built this 27' long boom for a 65' luxury
live aboard catamaran, designed by Constellation
Yachts. Forte has also built rudder posts, front
cross beams on big cats, and motor mounts on
trimarans for Constellation Yachts.

Tufts University Sailing Team
Forte worked with head coach Ken Legler and
alumni of The Tufts University sailing program to
develop this mast for the sailing team's fleet of
Larks. The mast stands 22' and weighs 8.5 lbs.

Stealth
Forte designed and built the free-standing mast, boom and bowpole for the Stealth, built by CL Sailboats. This planing skiff has a main and skreecher and it's designed to be a singlehander. |

design; it includes an 8:1 internal outhaul system,
with a vectran lanyard leading to the leech crinkle.

Bruce Schwab aboard Ocean Planet, during the

battens for the 2004/2005 Vendee Globe.

A2 A Class Catamaran
Morrelli & Melvin A2 A Class Catamaran on her
maiden voyage 11/5/03. Forte built the cross
beam for this boat. Forte builds bowpoles for
the new asymetric A2.

Cheyenne
Cheyenne (f/k/a PlayStation), Steve Fossett's 125'
mega cat,
used 7 Forte battens (the longest at 47')
for the
2004 Jules Verne Challenge, an around the globe
time trial. With 7,244 square feet of upwind sail
area,
batten
stiffness and durability were imperative.

Rebecca
Forte built 6 sail battens (the longest at 40') for the
119' mega yacht Rebecca. The battens are of
carbon/glass construction topped by a dry jacket
of kevlar braid, and support a 346 sqm mainsail.
Forte also built
battens for the 144 sqm mizzen sail.

The Swift Solo
The Swift Solo is a high performance 3-sail,
single-handed skiff. Designed in 2000 by Bram
Dally, the class was formed in 2003. Forte builds
the mast, boom and bowpole for this class.
